Introducing Coach Maggie
My journey into the CrossFit world started back in the Fall of 2012 when I signed up for a Fundamentals class. Not knowing anything about the sport, I walked into my first session completely oblivious as to the impact it would ultimately have on me. Once the month came to a close, I knew I wanted more. To be completely honest, it was intimidating at first but it didnβt take long before I felt a part of this welcoming community.

As a mum raising 3 active kids, it was tough to balance personal time with the demands of everyday family life. An hour in the gym became an important escape for my physical and mental wellbeing.

Since then I havenβt looked back…well, maybe a wee glance every now and then to see if Iβve left my shoes, keys or mind behind.

As I morphed into a coaching role, my focus has always been technique driven. Itβs the little intricacies that determine good from great movement.

βTechnique Before Loadβ is my motto ~ of course that has a whole lot to do with self preservation too!
